Carmel valley recreation center:

monday 9:30- 10:30 am hatha yoga level 1-2 Code: SPRING SESSION

Build strength and length in this full body slow flow. Class is ideal for beginners and intermediate level yogis. Class will include core work, standing balance, mild backbends, twists, side body, core strength and stretching.

thursday 6:30-7:30 pm HATHA LEVEL 1-2 code : SPRING SESSION

Build strength and length in this full body slow flow. Class is ideal for beginners and those who want to spend a little time in each pose. Class will include core work, standing balance, mild backbends, twists, side body, core strength and stretching.

TUESDAY 12:15- 1 pm SENIOR FITNESS. CODE: SPRING SESSION

Senior Fitness is a modified version of a regular fitness class using a combination of seated and standing work. We use light weights, bands, & the wall to build strength and find balance and spice it up with low impact cardio.

thursday SENIOR YOGA 12:15-1 PM CODE: SPRING session SENIOR YOGA

Senior Yoga is a modified version of regular yoga, using a chair and the wall so that we do all of the same work without getting on the floor. Class moves at a slower pace so the students have the time to find the shape and hold it. This class is designed as a healthy way to combat aging and includes strength, balance, core work, stretching, and relaxation.

wednesday 9:30 - 10:30 am yoga level 1-2 : SPRING SESSION

Yoga Gal is a program designed for New and Intermediate Level Students who want a personal yoga experience. Janice, the teacher, specializes in inclusion and creating versions of a pose that work for everyone. Students will gain strength, improve balance, increase flexibility and learn meditation and breath techniques for relaxation.

monday 6 - 7 PM vinyasa flow ALL LEVEL:SPRING SESSION

Build strength and length in this full body flow ideal for advanced beginners and intermediate level yogis. Class includes core work, standing balance, backbends, twists, side body pose, arm balances, and inversions. Modified versions of these poses will be offered as well.
